Snow Day Fun… Water Play

,

waterplay
Rainy days, snow days, any day can be water play! Little Dude loves the water! He’s been a true water baby. He started swimming lessons when he was just about 6 months old. I think he misses the beach most of all! Since we don’t have a beach near by and we’ve been inside a lot because of the cold winter. Water play has been our knight and shining armor!

We put a towel down on the floor and I put towel jacket on him. He pulls up his stool and we fill the sink up. We grab some toys and he goes to town! He also loves to come into the kitchen and pick out some kitchen tools to play with in the water. He feel special that he gets to try out the kitchen tools and I don’t have to worry about the hot stove. It is great entertainment and keeps him busy for an hour or more! Hope you try indoor water play with your little too!

What you need:
Sink
Towels
Toys
Kitchen tools

How to:
We use the bathroom sink. I show him where he can fill it too and remind he of the “water play rules”. Most importantly the water stays in the sink.

This is great! We love water play at our house as well! My son really loves it when I put a drop or two of food coloring in the water 🙂 Makes the perfect snow day activity!
