Jolly Leprechauns

,

Jolly Leprechaun

St. Patty’s Day is right around the corner.  I love St. Patrick’s Day!  Not for the green beer or the parade but, to me it signals beach weather, Spring Break and traffic.  Well when we lived in Florida it did.  Now, in the Northeast I’m excited that it is Spring!  And ready for warmer temperatures!  How cute are this Jolly Leprechaun!  Hopefully they bring you a pot of gold!

What you need:

White & green paper

Green & yellow paint

Scissors

Glue

Black marker

Little hands

Jollyprep

How to:

Trace Little hands on the piece of white paper, cut it out with scissors; to make the Leprechaun’s head.

Fold the green piece of paper long ways, to make the Leprechaun’s body.

Trace half a body on the green paper, to make a boy or girl.

Unfold and cut out.

Paint the part of the palm of the hand print green to make the Leprechaun’s hat.

Then paint the fingers part orange.

Let it dry.

Then glue the Leprechaun’s head to the body.

Draw on eyes, nose, and month.

If child wants to draw and color on cloths on the Leprechaun or they can leave it be.

Have fun!

Cute Jolly Leprechaun!

How cute!! I love crafts like these that use their little hand prints 🙂 I love looking back at them later and remembering how small they used to be. Ok, so I may be harboring some serious mommy denial about the fact that my oldest is almost 3 but either way this is adorable lol. Thank you for sharing!
