    Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe

Fall is my hubs absolute favorite time of the year. It’s the time of year that temperatures start cooling, all things pumpkin come out, and fall sports are here… FOOTBALL. I’m not just talking about any football team. I’m talking college football and my hubs alma mater.

Saturdays in Fall when hubs alma mater play, are days that are equivalent to a national holiday in our home. Complete with special college football game prep and watching traditions, dress code, and meals that all go into the anticipated game. Every college football season each member of our family picks out a new t-shirt of my hubs alma mater. The football schedule is posted on our family calendar with highlighted circles around the dates of the games and huge stars around the games we are attending.

Each week starts with anticipation of what time the game starts and what channel will it be on. Important key elements! Once we know the time, then we can plan. Are we going to host friends for the game or go someplace? What will I cook? What do we need? We also need to make sure all of our shirts are clean.

Once Saturday comes, team pride comes out. We dress in our team colors. Hubs and Little Dude put up the team flag in the front yard, and I start to prep for the big game. I make sure we have all the things we need to watch the game. Once the game starts, there is no leaving for a quick trip to the store. This year we decided to kick off the College Football season with a watch party. I made some delicious Pulled Pork Sliders and we had some friends over to watch the game. Check out the recipe for Pulled Pork Sliders below!
