It’s official! We are moving. My hubby has been transferred. We will be moving from the Sunshine State to the Keystone state. Crazy to think that in a month or so we’ll be Northern! We’ll be trading in our palm trees & beach chairs for snow shovels and sleds!
Our house went on the market and we’re full force into moving mode.
House hunting is going. However, we’re not finding much. Or we find something to only find out that it’s already under contract! Pretty frustrating. However, we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will all work out! It is really fascinating how different the housing market is in different parts of the country! In the Sunshine State, we were hit so hard in 2006 with the housing boom and now we are seeing so many houses on the market. In the north, they were not affected at all by the housing boom. Homes in the south are newer and larger. In the north, they are older with more character. Both home types are beautiful. Can’t wait to see what we end up with!
