The first time I saw the Chuggington Stack Track Railway System I was at a toy event at a blog conference, this pasted summer and the Stack Track had just won a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for Tallest Toy Train Track. The World Record Track was build at Grand Central Terminal in New York as part of the Grand Centennial Parade of Trains. It reached 17 feet 4 inches tall and it was all made using sets of TOMY Chugginton Stack Track Railway System. I could not believe my eyes that part of the winning track was standing before my eyes! I was totally wowed and amazed!
When I was asked to team up with TOMY for this review, I was so excited. My Little Dude just loved Chugginton and we had several Chugginton Wooden Railway Sets. However, Little Dude has a new favorite toy, Chuggington Stack Track and I can’t blame him. I love playing with it too! It is an amazing toy!
Chuggington Stack Track Railway System has an innovative design made from durable plastic and die- cast, it’s easy to put together and you can make elaborate tracks, and stacking them high. The speeds that the trains can go is remarkable and you don’t have to worry about the trains becoming derailed like with other sets. The Stack Track pieces easily snap and unsnap together as well as the riser to elevate the track. I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure how sturdy the Stack Track would be and I initially thought that with any little bump or bobble the track would come apart and crashing down. My Little Dude can be like any typical 3 year old, rough, clumsy, frustrated and one concern I had was how sturdy would it be. It is definitely Little Dude proof and a very sturdy track! It’s quality and construction is top notch.
