Roses are Red…

Painting with vegetables!! What fun! This AM Little Dude was all about the crafts! He got out his paper and craft bin and was ready to go. We used cut celery to paint with. My friend told me that you can use celery to make roses. It looks like you are looking down at the rose with all the pedals. So I thought we could try it! I figured we can use our pictures for Valentine’s!

What you need:
Paper
Red paint
Celery

How to:
Cut the celery as close as you can to where it gathers and bunches, leaving some room to hold on to. About 2-3 inches depending on the size of the stalk
Put some red paint on a paper plate

Then dip the celery bunch into the red paint and press onto paper.
It works better with less paint.
Tada Roses.
