Last week I had an opportunity to attend a luncheon event at the Philadelphia Magazine’s Design Home in Wydmoor, PA. The Philadelphia Magazine’s Design Home was all decked out and decorated to the nines from different vendors around the area. No expense was spared, and this home had ALL the bells and whistles! It is a dream home!

While I was at this amazing home, I learned: 1st- this home is not mine and 2nd you don’t have to live in this amazing home to have the X1 system by Xfinity. We have had the X1 system for the past year and I had no idea about some awesome apps you can download for your Xfinity system.
Hubs favorite is the Xfinity remote for a number of reasons, We never seem to have batteries around when the remote dies and this app has helped avoid the catastrophe emptying Little Dudes toys looking for the correct batteries, or even worse trying to figure out how to change the channel without the remote. Hubs also uses this app to record shows or set up to record shows from virtually anywhere, now if we can get him to delete all of the shows he recorded- this too is available on the app, but for some reason Hubs loves keeping everything he recorded, thankfully we both can manager our DVR storage.
Another winner in our house is the Xfinity TV Go app – Hubs really likes this app because he can actually watch college and pro football or some of his history channel shows he watches, sometimes in bed. With so many Xfinity hot spots around, Hubs and Little Dude have been caught checking out the many sports and kid friendly Live channels. I have to admit it is pretty cute when Hubs and Little Dude have been caught high 5’ing while watching a play on the phone.
A new favorite app of mine is the Xfinity Wifi app. I love this app because it allows me to find a hotspot when I’m on the go! It really helps when I try to get some work done while I’m away from home!

I had never heard of Xfinity until you blogged about it. But I do know that my parents have both a mini fridge and coffee maker and bar area in their Master area – and they could live upstairs and not come down for days if they didn’t have animals and jobs!
