Everyone has a few of these people that on their Christmas shopping list. You know the type, the hard to buy for. I usually leave them for last. My mom is one of those hard to buy for on my list. She is one of those people that has everything, and she is not one to ask for special things. But not just any gift basket, but one filled with a variety of food and treats. You can’t go wrong with food in all fairness.
Every year with great anticipation I wait for the edition of Oprah’s Favorite Things List to come out. It is one of my favorite gift guides to refer to and I look forward to it each year. Oprah’s Favorite Things List always has some fun and unique ideas that I never knew existed and that I now had to have. It’s also the source of many gift ideas for a few people on my shopping list. Especially those hard to buy for people.
My mom is one of Oprah’s biggest fans! I remember my mom sitting and watching her show every day when I was a kid. This year, I decided to incorporate her love for Oprah into her Christmas gift, and create the perfect Oprah Fan Gift Basket. In the Oprah Fan Gift Basket, Oprah’s Favorite Things List 2017 inspired a few items to include in this basket. I thought these items would be useful and fun to include!
This year I made it super easy on myself and did a lot of my holiday shopping in October and November. I also did most of my shopping on Amazon, which made my life so much easier during the busy Holiday Season!

How to Create the Perfect Oprah Fan Gift Basket
Use a basket. I like to find a fabric lined basket so items stay securely inside and it can be reused for something else.
Line the basket with a few sheets of tissue paper.
Add some gift bag filler on top of the tissue paper.
Arrange items inside of the basket.
Wrap the basket in Cellophane Wrap.
Tie with a bow and add a gift tag.
And voila! Ready to be tucked under the Christmas Tree!
