Tis the season for giving. This New Year’s we are starting a new family tradition. I want to teach our little dude about giving to other in need. And that Christmas is not only about receiving, Santa, presents, and all things fun.
We were at our friends house on Christmas Eve and they were telling us how there were so many families still left on the “Angel Tree” at there church! The “Angel Tree” is a place where families that are less fortunate can write down there Christmas wish list and other people can pull a family off the Angel Tree and make there wishes come true. I really wish I knew about that. It really breaks my heart that while we were enjoying all things Christmas some families we not! Made me feel so sad.
For our new family tradition we are going to have a jar that we leave out and put spare change and money into. At the end of the year we will use the money to “adopt a family” in need and provide them with all there family Christmas wishes.
