Dolphin Week…
This week was Dolphin week a take off from shark week… We learned about dolphins. Camp this week included a movie “Dolphin Tale” a beautiful story. Winter!! The dolphin from Dolphin Tale @ the Clearwater Aquarium! Little dude and I watched the movie and what could be better but to go meet her live! If you’re not familiar with who Winter is she is a beautiful dolphin who lost her tail and was given a prosaic tail! It’s an amazing story about friendship, overcoming obstacles & perseverance! Winter lost her tail due to being tangled in fishing line but she never let that stop her! Check out her story! The movie Dolphin Tale! We took a field trip to Clearwater Aquarium and met Winter the dolphin. We also made a Dolphin Sock Puppet and camp concluded with a field trip to the beach to swim like dolphins! Hope you have fun!!
All About Dolphins
Monday- We watched the movie ” Dolphin’s Tale”.
Tuesday- Â Arts & Crafts! We made Dolphin Sock Puppets!
Wednesday- Field trip! Visited the Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter the dolphin or a visit to your local aquarium or zoo.
Friday- Swim like dolphins- Field trip to the beach, pool or your bath tub
Dolphin Sock Puppet
What you need:
1 white sock
2 eyes
Markers
Blue foam
Glue
How to:
Color the sock
Glue on eyes
Cut the blue foam into a small triangle and glue on for the fin
Fun!
