Do you love avocados? Avocados are one of those foods our family loves and can’t seem to get enough of. So versatile, fresh avocados can be used in any meal or dish. They can be used as a recipe substitute for bad fats, a way to add naturally good fats, a nutrient-dense fruit to add nutrient value, and as a vegan or vegetarian possible alternative to dairy products. Avocado contributes nearly 20 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, making it a good choice to help meet nutrient needs.Avocado Love Tasting Party

I love to add sliced avocado to salads, on top of a burger, on toast with a dash of sea salt, or add to a smoothie. Make some homemade guacamole with chips and salsa too. Avocados, which are a fruit although most people think of them as a vegetable, contain less than one gram of sugar per 1-ounce, the least amount of sugar per serving of any other fresh fruit. Avocados act as a “nutrient booster” by helping the body to better absorb fat-soluble nutrients, such as alpha- and beta-carotene and lutein, from foods that are eaten with the fruit.Avocado Love Tasting Party

I tried out some new and exciting recipes featuring Hass Avocados for my Avocado Love Tasting Party. I made a delicious and fresh Vegan Avocado Ceviche. I served it with some corn chips. It was simple to make, and it was a real crowd pleaser!Avocado Love Tasting Party

Vegan Avocado Ceviche featured fresh ingredients like Hass Avocado, cauliflower, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno pepper, garlic, fresh cilantro, and some lime. This Vegan Avocado Ceviche would also taste delicious on top of a green salad.

I also made Avocado and Coconut Ice Pops in sea creature molds. Super summer and the perfect treat on a hot summer day. These were a huge hit among both the kids and the adults! Avocado and Coconut Ice Pops were simple to make. They featured Hass Avocado, coconut milk, fresh lemon, honey, and topped off with some shredded coconut!

We’ve never used avocados in a sweet dessert recipe. The avocado and coconut ice pops sound really good, so that may be something we’d try out. That dip looks really good, too.

The coconut and avocado popsicles look really tasty. It made me remember the velvety smooth avocado ice cream I tasted during one of my trips abroad. I have to make these for my family this weekend. What a yummy way to cool down!

I love avocados, as they are one of the most nutritious foods out there. I love to spread avocado on some toast with some tomatoes & cheese!

I absolutely love Avacado. I use it in salads and for guacamole all the time. I never thought of making an ice pop with it – so creative. Thanks for sharing these ideas.

I absolutely LOVE avocados. I’m seriously obsessed with them. I have never frozen them before so I am super excited to try your ice pop recipe. I’m sure it will be fantastic!

I love Avocados! They are so delicious, and healthy. I have a hard time telling which is ripe and good for use. But it’s definitely amazing with basically everything.

Not big on avocados but I sneak them into my daughters smoothie so that she gets some good fats.

Those avocado popsicles are happening!! That’s awesome. My baby loves ‘cados so we always have several on hand. The ceviche looks really yummy too.

I love avocados. I could eat them every day— and I pretty much do. I am intrigued by that vegan ceviche with Hass avocado.

I am not much of a cook, but I am a sucker for pretty much any thing with avocados. Yum! This is the best time of year for them too.

I’ve never thought about making Popsicles out of avocado. Avocados are extremely versatile I think. I’m totally going to try doing this.

Up until about a year ago, I hated avocados. But for whatever reason my tastes changed and now I can’t get enough. YUM.
