Apple Onion Pulled Pork Recipe

Apple Onion Pulled Pork Recipe Paleo, Whole 30

The Fall is really a beautiful time of the year in the North! It is one season that is missed  living in Florida. There is not much of a season change and all the beautiful colors of the leaves changing. The leaves are starting to change, Fall Festivals, apple picking, and hot air balloons! We knew about all the other Fall fun but, when the hot air balloons started flying over our house we were really excited! Little dude loves to watch them pass. They are just amazing and beautiful to watch!

There is nothing quite like the beauty in mother nature and seeing all the beautiful leaves. Not to mention all the Fall Festivals, apple picking, and hot air balloons! Fall is the only season we miss from not living in Philly anymore. The apple picking and the hot air balloons flying over our house for sure. They are just amazing and beautiful to watch!

How to:

1.  Clean and chop onion, chop in large circles.
2.  Cut apple and remove the Core and seeds. Slice the apples.
3.  Place the Pork Tenderloin in the slow cooker
4.  Add chili powder, cumin, coriander
5.  Then add onion and apples around the pork
6.  Add chopped garlic, apple cider vinegar and water
7.  Set slow cooker on low for 8- 10 hours
8.  When the pork is done, use a fork to shred the pork right in the slow cooker. It should just fall apart easily.

Serve with steamed artichoke or broccoli. Make extra! This recipe freezes well too.

  1. This is so getting made in my house this weekend. Fall here in Carolina still feels like summer – even though we’re on the precipice of barbecue season and The NFL season is almost a quarter over! How does that even happen?

I might have to kill the paleo vibe and slap this on pretzel buns, but that’s okay, right?
