I am yet to experience back-to-school hassles. May be I will have to follow up this post in the next year as my daughter will be stepping into the school in 2019. I am so much excited like you –little bit kid-free time.

I like to sit down and make a list of all the things I need to get done before back to school hits. I just start going down the list and get everything done when I can.

When kids starts going back to school, it changes the calendar to earlier preparations but at the same time leaves you more time without the kids. It would be exciting for kids to have new stuff for the school year as this is one of the things that keep them excited. It’s always good to take advantage of existing promos and discounts.

This are great back to school shopping hacks. I graduated college back in 2014 so I’m no longer in school but I love using planners to stay organized! Planners are a MUST for me.

EEEKs school shopping! We haven’t gone on our family vacation yet.
But you’re right, we should start sooner than later.
I love that you put on there doctor’s appointments! That is so important!

I need to start this long process, I have three kids in school and it gets tough to keep everything organized and together. I love the idea of ordering labels, that would save me a ton of time!

I did my school supplies shopping early, I don’t do it all at one time. Sometimes I even start school supply shopping even before the school year is over. Oh well, my kids are grown up so shopping for supplies is a closed chapter in my book of raising kids. I will share this post with my sister. She still has school age kids, one in middle school, another in junior high.

Hard to believe that summer really is at an end but so grateful at the same time! Planning ahead is a very good idea. Last year my daughter started school without a new backpack because I waited til the last minute to order it. Oops. Won’t be making that same mistake again.

I love the idea of scheduling well appts. in advance! Last year I bought WAY too many spiral notebooks, I still have two boxes full from Wal-mart that are untouched. I wish the same could be said of crayons and pencils!

Summer vacation just started around here at the end of June and the kids don’t go back until after the first week of September, so we still got a little bit of summer left!

My kids go to Catholic school and have to wear uniforms which is so nice. We all get roughly the same school supplies which works, but it still costs enough when you have more than one child!

It feels like the summer just blew by. It’s crazy that school is starting already. Yikes! We haven’t done our shopping yet so these tips will come in handy. I guess we should probably get to it.
